Srinagar April 13 (KNO) : The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir today extended greetings to people on the very auspicious occasion of Miraj Aalam being observed tonight and prayed for overall development, peace and tranquility in the State.

Congress President also extended Baisakhi greetings to people. Felicitating people on the auspicious occasion of Miraj Aalam, G.A. Mir said that the occasion will continue to lead the entire world at the path of righteousness and truthfulness, as that, the right path taught and shown by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) will continue to guide the humanity towards peace, brotherhood and tranquility. He said the teachings of Prophet SAW (Sunnah) will remain relevant till last, guiding us to serve the humanity maintaining brotherhood and unity.

We all should adopt the same in our lives, as the teachings (Sunnah) will continue to enlighten the whole mankind about the right and wrong things and hoped that Miraj Aalam will be the harbinger of peace and stability in the region especially in J&K, he added and said the occasion will bring all the happiness and prosperity to people. G.A. Mir also extended Baisakhi greetings to people, saying that festivals will continue to remain important part of composite culture of diversity unity and brotherhood, hoping that the occasion will lead us at the path of unity and communal harmony.
